General Questions

JMS is a non-profit venture that was started by the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau. JMS has a Memorandum of Understanding with the Uganda Muslim Medical Bureau and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau. These are classified as accredited facilities.
All Mission based, Private Not for Profit and Private Hospitals, Health Centres, Non-Governmental Organisations, Schools, Pharmacies, Clinic among many others.
JMS has a special order team that caters for procuring emergency and non-stock items. The team sources for the rare hard to find medical supplies ordered by customers.
Yes JMS carries out last mile delivery depending on the worth and timing of the order. We advise consolidation of orders based on dioceses, districts and regions. Donor supplies are delivered in each zone door to door bi-monthly guided by a published delivery schedule.
JMS extended its operations in East Africa and has delivered consignments to customers in Democratic Republic of Congo, Southern Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Central African Republic (CAR)
JMS publishes its vacancies in the mainstream media, website and social media channels. Its employs diverse professionals, graduate trainees and interns.

Pricing Questions

Invoices may be settled by bank draft, cash, cheque written out in the names of Joint Medical Store and using Mobile Money mode of payment with JointMed as the Merchant code.

Upcountry customers are encouraged to make deposits directly to the above bank accounts and send a scanned copy of the bank slip to the JMS accounts department.

JMS is a wholesale pharmaceutical store, what is the minimum purchase permitted?
JMS offers a 90 day credit policy scheme for accredited facilities. To qualify, facilities need to have active accounts with JMS.
Yes, the JMS selling price is harmonised at all JMS outlets including the Head office, Mbarara Branch and distribution outlets in Fort Portal, Masaka, Arua and Jinja.
