She provides strategic leadership in strengthening governance, risk management, compliance and internal control systems. With over 20 years of experience, she has led risk-based audits, compliance frameworks and governance initiatives across multiple sectors, enabling organizations to enhance accountability, operational effectiveness and sustainable growth.
Mercy holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Her expertise spans enterprise risk management, internal audit, regulatory compliance, financial governance and strengthening institutional frameworks.
She has a proven track record in building robust assurance systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting leadership teams to make informed decisions through evidence-based insights. Her leadership is anchored in integrity, continuous improvement and a commitment to strengthening organizational excellence.
