This project supports the procurement and delivery of TB commodities for the PNFP sector in Uganda, including first-line and second-line TB medicines, GeneXpert cartridges, laboratory reagents, and diagnostic supplies. The total cost is UGX 1,000,000,000 for TB medicines, UGX 2,912,000,000 for TB diagnostics annually.

The TB Donation activity supports the storage and distribution of Tuberculosis (TB) commodities for the PNFP sector in Uganda, including first-line and second-line TB medicines, GeneXpert cartridges, laboratory reagents, and diagnostic supplies as part of implementation of the Uganda national strategic plan for tuberculosis and leprosy control 2020/2021- 2024/25 whose goal is to end TB and Leprosy by 2030

Achievements.
  1. 395 TB facilities supplied on time,
  2. Strengthened availability of TB medicines and diagnosis across PNFP facilities.
  3. 100% utilization of funds.
  4. Strengthened forecasting and quantification for TB commodities.
  5. Ensured continuous availability of TB medicines and diagnostics.
  6. Supported scale-up of GeneXpert testing capacity.
  7. Reduced stock-outs of key TB commodities.
